Brand Development

“Yako” means ‘Your’ or “Yours’ in Swahili. The Yako Casino brand is focused on the user, offering a fully personalized experienced… that is yours. Our challenge was to bring this attitude through their brand in an elegant but also relevant, fun way. It had to covey the “Yako Promise”, of being a casino designed and driven by customer behavior.
We came up with a brand that reflected a personalized, playful look, with just a simple touch of elegance via clean typography and a beautiful colour scheme of gold and purple. Our graphic focus was the Yako character we created, representing their personalized and playful focus towards their customer… the king of Yako!
A spot-on approach, as described by our client, which we not only applied across their offline stationery materials but also produced comprehensive guidelines to professionally apply across any marcomm activities they embark on.

Teaser website

Alongside launching the new Yako Casino brand there was additionally a need for the creation of a holding page under YakoCasino.com that will tease the launch of the main Yako website via a countdown. Visitors would be able to get quick info about the casino, and also sign up for early bird invites, free spins promotions, and career opportunities. We created a clean and simple design with a few custom-made graphics, teasing in a playful manner the upcoming launch of the main website. The design was also responsive, and was built on our custom Content Management System for multilingual support.
