Although established as the worlds premium Vodka, we were challenged by ACM Christofides, the official distributor of Stoli in Cyprus to reinforce its branding and leading position further. This is how we helped Stoli in the local, Cypriot market.
We tapped into the digital, to provide an edge by connecting its customers through a very funky competition. We created a microsite with the sole objective to promote the 5 (five) flavors of Stoli. The competition’s objective was to indirectly drive sales. Through the app & microsite we designed & developed, users answered a series of fun questions. We associated the answers to their personality traits and at the end the app recommended to each user the flavor more suitable to their personality.

We fully customised the website and designed it with full screen imagery. The left-hand side of the design acts as a prompt, helping users step by step to complete the quiz. Whereas, the right-hand side corresponds to the answers with dazzling and fresh images, which promotes the various respective Stoli flavors. We gave different weightings to the questions involved to be able to distinct personality traits of the users.
To spice up the competition further, we gave the incentive to users to reach the end of the quiz to participate in a competition to win a bigger prize.
The microsite is supported by an extremely user friendly CMS. Stoli's marketing team has access to it and was obtaining data live as entered by the participants, enabling them to data mine the users’ basic information. With this simple way they grew their contacts database even further, in a legitimate manner.
In an era where mobile searches are overtaking desktop searches any project we design and develop always takes care of the responsive elements. Therefore, we proactively design and apply various resolutions for optimum viewing across any devise. At the same time we ensure that the user experience is never compromised irrespective of where you are accessing the microsite from.
We supported this campaign with a social media strategy combining boosted posts and link click campaigns on Facebook to encourage users to participate. With a small budget of around €350 in one month we generated the following impressive results:
The most successful campaigns are the ones that manage to seamlessly integrate digital with offline to capitalise the best of both worlds. Therefore, we successfully integrated this app offline, in one of the largest and busiest supermarkets in Nicosia, at Alpha Mega. In an appropriate area inside the supermarket we created a bar look alike setting. This area had bar-tenders, bottles with all the Stoli flavors appropriately displayed, and a big TV screen showing the app / quiz. The bar-tenders were offering free samples of the various Stoli Flavors while encouraging people to participate and simultaneously giving away Stoli memorabilia. What better way to drive the sales further and get a chance to win your favourite Stoli flavor suited to your personality?
